On the 20th of January, 1B CSPE class welcomed guest speaker Bernice Kirwan from COPE Galway.
COPE help the homeless as well as elderly people and victims of domestic violence. They have been providing social services in Galway since the 1970s.

The students held a cake sale to raise funds for COPE and in total they raised €75. This donation will support COPE Galway in providing lunch Clubs for the elderly, accommodation for the homeless and other projects such as COPE Galway’s new Domestic Violence Refuge.
