Celebrating World Book Day during Mental Health Week

On the 14th of March 2019, the 5th Years took part in a dress up day to celebrate World Book Day. This was one of the many activities that took place in school in light of Mental Health Week. Students and teachers dressed up as their favorite characters from well known books, ranging for The Great Gatsby to Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The students knowledge of books was put to the test in a table quiz with questions from various genres of books. The students who put the most effort into their costumes were awarded prizes, with AJ Solier winning the top prize for recreating the iconic character Carrie from the famous Stephen King novel Carrie.
