Congratulations to our Junior A Connacht Champions
Congratulations to our Junior A ladies Gaelic football team and management on retaining their Junior A Connacht title for a second year in a row. The girls defeated Sacred Heart Westport, 6-9 to 3-3, in Swinford on Tuesday 23rd January in the Connacht Post-Primary School’s Junior A final. The team was captained by Aoife Coen.
Local clubs Tuam-Cortoon, Corofin, Caherlistrane, Kilconly and Miltown were represented by players on the Pres panel. Thank you to all the supporters who travelled to the final.
The girls now progress to the All-Ireland semi-final where they will meet either Loreto Cavan or Our Lady’s Castleblaney in March.
Pres Tuam football has now claimed 5/6 main championship titles in Connacht for the last two years.
