Congratulations to our students who participated in the Final of the Eco-Ensco awards

Congratulations to our Transition Year students who participated in the all-Ireland Final of the Eco-Ensco awards, held on the 20th, May in the Mansion House Dublin. Two teams from the Presentation College presented projects based upon the theme of Climate Change.
The First Team focused on the thesis of recycling everything that is recyclable, in particular in the area of clothes, as displayed through the TY Fashion Show.
The Second Team used the innovative idea of writing a Comic Book for children on climate change. Using three characters, Climate Conor, Doctor Dioxide and Super Emily, to convey their strong message. The student’s use of three puppets to convey their story was praised by all the judges.
The students had travelled from the Presentation College with students from St. Jarlaths College.
