Presentation Tuam TY Art students are enjoying their most prolific year yet, with nine entries submitted to this years Junk Kouture competition. The creativity level among the girls has been phenomenal, as has been their work ethic on this, as most of the work was done outside of school time.

We’re trilled to have had two students through to the regional finals, and we traveled to the Helix last Wednesday and both our entries ‘Digital Download’ and ‘Gach Realtai’ having made it through to the All Ireland Final.

Out of 1500 entries 80 students from five regions made it through to the All Ireland final presentation.  Tuam have two finalists in the 3 Arena on April 19th.. The judges Louis Walsh, Pippa O’Connor and Tracey Fahy Dr. Tracy Fahey who is Head of Department in Fine Art and Postgraduate Studies in Limerick School of Art and Design, LIT. These judges will have some very tough decisions to make at this years final with the standard being so high.
