We are bursting with pride as we celebrate the incredible performance of our First Year students in the recent IMTA (Irish Maths Teachers’ Association) National First Year Maths Competition.

Our students showcased exceptional problem-solving skills, dedication, and a true passion for mathematics. While the competition was stiff, the talent within our halls was clear to see.

A special congratulations goes to our school-wide winners who led the pack with impressive scores:

• Joint 2nd Place: Fionnuala Ruane & Leyla Ozbek
• 3rd Place: Tilly Tighe (Missing from photo, but certainly not from the rankings!)

Outstanding Achievements

In addition to our top three, we are delighted to recognise our Top 10 students, who each received certificates for their outstanding performance. Reaching this level is a testament to their hard work and analytical thinking.

Well done to every student who participated. It is wonderful to see such a strong “love of Maths” across the First Year group. We look forward to seeing where these bright minds go next!
