We are so incredibly proud of our three winning students who represented High Cross College last Friday evening at the inaugural TCD PhilSpeaks Infodumping Competition at Trinity College Dublin.

Out of a total of twelve winning entrants selected from all over the country, these amazing HCC students won in the following categories:
Mikey Hynes won “Best First Year” for his epic piece about Erasure’s song ‘Always’; Ava Higgins won “Most Energetic Speaker” for her brilliant presentation on Taylor Swift; and Jasmine Kaperek won “Best Overall Speaker” for her enlightening entry on Los Angeles.

What an achievement! Well done everyone and thank you to the parents and teachers, Ms Molloy and Ms Daly, who prepared the students and travelled to Dublin on Toy Show evening for the Winners’ Ceremony!
