March 8th marked a very important day in the lives of women around the world and in our very school. It was international women’s day. A day to celebrate and appreciate all the women in our lives.
Needless to say this day did not go unrecognised in our school. We celebrated this wonderful day of women in many ways.
Our TY’s were at the forefront of the celebrations as they held a workshop for 1st years focusing on the rights of women all around the world.
The doors of our school have also been adorned with quotes to remind all of our students of the strong young women they all are.
International women’s day a day to celebrate and appreciate all the women in our lives we celebrated this wonderful day of women in many ways.
