There was great excitement in the school at 3.30pm yesterday when the Junior Cert results were distributed to 105 students. The results were excellent with many students achieving over 6 A’s. One student, Eirene Cullinane, (Anbally, Cummer,) scored top marks with 11 A’s.

Principal, Neasa Cosgrove, congratulated all students on their achievements and wished them well as they start Senior Cycle. 56 students have opted to do Transition Year with the remaining students going straight on to 5th Year. She praised them for their work ethic and acknowledged that many of the results well exceeded results nationwide. The fact that so many students take all subjects at Higher Level for the Junior Cert was commended as this ensures a great base knowledge in subjects at Senior Cycle.
