Maya Bacci, recent recipient of the Exceptional Contribution to HCC Debating Society Award 2025, attended the 28th National Session of European Youth Parliament Ireland in Cork at the end of April.

Over 70 delegates and 50 volunteers from across Europe discussed pressing and current issues to develop collaborative resolutions around the theme of “Igniting Change: Harnessing the present to build the future”.

Maya has since been invited to attend the International Forum of EYP in Greece, which will be held on the island of Crete this summer. The focus is on the theme of “Redefining Possibilities: Radiating light, illuminating our futures”.
