This coming Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night the students of Presentation College Tuam take to the take to preform our last school musical, Legally Blonde. In the run up to musical week we have interviewed some of the students involved and today’s interview is with our amazing choreographers!

Why did you get involved in the musical?
I got Involved in the show as I love the atmosphere it brings to the school and the buzz everyone gets leading up to the show I love seeing it all come together and how it progresses and changes with more practice
Have you ever been involved in the school musical before?
I was involved in the school musical in second year which was Cinderella and I was part of the backstage crew in fifth year.
What is your favorite scene in the musical and what is your favourite song in Legally Blonde The Musical?
Favourite scene is the bend and snap with Paulette as I find it very funny.
Favourite song in the musical is positive!
Why did you decide to join the musical? Are you glad you did?
I got involved in the school musical as it was the last school musical for me and for the Pres as a school. I thought it would be nice to be a part of it!
Was it stressful?
It was definitely stressful at times yes but it’s all worth it in the end seeing it all come together and look so good!

Why did you get involved in the musical?
I thought the musical would be a fun experience and nice to be involved as it is my last year in Pres and the last Pres show.
Have you ever been involved in the school musical before?
I never got to be involved in the school musicals in my junior years so I was glad I could partake in it in my final year.
What is your favorite scene in the musical and what is your favourite song in Legally Blonde The Musical?
My favourite scene is act 2 scene 6 because it includes Elles realisation that she is a good lawyer and it includes my favourite song from the musical “legally blonde remix”.
Why did you decide to join the musical? Are you glad you did?
I decided to join the musical because I wanted to be part of something in Pres in my final year and I thought it would be a fun thing to do with my friends.
I’m so glad I got to be one of the choreographers for the school musical because I had a lot of fun making up the dances and teaching them to all the girls involved.
Was it stressful?
At times I found it stressful to have all the dances finished and to make sure all the girls knew what they were doing but overall I found it a really enjoyable experience
