The entire school are looking forward to our ‘No Uniform Day’ in aid of past pupil Shauna Harte, who is travelling to Uganda to volunteer with an organisation called Nurture Africa.

Shauna is a past pupil of the school who is currently studying medicine in University College Dublin (UCD).  Shauna will be travelling to Uganda with the UCD Volunteer Overseas programme to work with Nurture Africa.

Shauna will be funding her own travel costs,  so all money raised will be going directly to help fund some of the Nurture Africa projects.  These projects are community development, educational workshops, and working with the staff in a rehabilitation centre in Nansana for children with disabilities.
