Only students from 1st and 2nd year can enter the Minor category.
Only students up to and including 5th year can enter the Junior category.
All Students and Staff can enter Senior category.

This mystery number has 4 digits. Every digit is an odd number. None of the digits is a 9. Every digit in the number is different. The smallest digit is in the thousands place. The greatest digit is in the ones place. The preceding describes two possible numbers. The mystery number is the greater of those two numbers. What is the mystery number?
Senior Problem
The first term in a sequence of number is a 2. Each even-numbered term is 3 more than the previous term and each odd-numbered term, excluding the first, is – 1 times the previous term. What is the 45th term of the sequence?
