Caoimhe Gordon, Leaving Certificate student 2013, was presented recently with an achievement award by the Principal  Ms Nessa Cosgrove, for her outstanding result of 100%, in both her Leaving Certificate, Higher Level English Examinations Papers.  
Her English Teacher, Marie Mohan prised Caoimhe for her outstanding results in attaining maximum marks, in this subject, “Caoimhe is a gifted student, with a remarkable ability to use her language skills, in an original, entertaining, philosophical, perceptive and insightful manner. Her love of reading and written expression permeated all her work, as she conjured up vivid pen-pictures in a personal, inclusive and often witty manner.” 
In Caoimhe’s own words, “I have always loved writing, ever since I could hold a pen between my chubby little fingers. I used to crave the feeling of the cool lined paper beneath my left hand and if I’m being honest, I still do.”
Caoimhe is currently studying English and German in Trinity College Dublin.
