Our book club is now up and running for the 2016-17 school year.  We are all enjoying our books and discussing genre, themes, favourite characters, etc. in a fun way. We also play board games such as scrabble.

This year, our book club are planning on opening a new library in the canteen to encourage more students to read books. We are also looking forward to participating in the annual ‘One Book, One Tuam’ reading programme, where schools in Tuam read the same book with many fun events taking place. Once again, we will also be celebrating ‘World Book Day’ in 2017.

New members are always very welcome to come along and join our club. We meet every Wednesday at 1.10 pm  in Room 18, bring your lunch along. Club Leader is Mr. Tierney.
