The girls joined Professor Michael O’ Flaherty, Senator Healy Eames and representatives from NUIG School of Education and other Galway schools to help launch the Irish #UpForSchool petition campaign.

The girls become part of the hundreds of youth activists who are working on this campaign globally. The #UpForSchool is a global petition campaign to put pressure on the world leader’s to act, and keep their Millennium development Goal promise to ensure all out-of-school children gain their right to education before the end of 2015.
