The Leaving Certificate Biology students recently braved the elements to survey the plants and animals of the rocky seashore. With the help of their teachers and the staff from the Burren Outdoor Education Centre, they were to become experts on the identification of seaweed, periwinkles, crabs and the other occupants of the rock pools on the Flaggy Shore, Co. Clare.
