The Transition Years have a very busy start for September

Our Transition Year students have had a very hectic schedule for the month of September with a wide range of workshops, trips, talks and outings.  From the girls trip  in Loughrea temperance hall to see ‘Michael Collins: A Musical Drama’ produced by the Bravo Theatre Group. The  students all enjoyed the amazing performances from all the cast. Well done to all involved.

TYs enjoying a very motivating day at the Young St Vincent de Paul conference. The girls listened to some very inspirational speakers and of course, we were very proud of our own TYs from last year who performed in ILAS Centre NUIG on the day.

Pres TYs at the climate change protest in Eyre Square Galway & raising awareness on climate change at the school

Some of our Transition Year students and St Jarlaths students enjoying participating in and the Science Ireland Rockets workshop

The two night stay at Killary Adventure Centre to begin the year. The girls had a great time amid plenty of rain and dirt, but more importantly was enjoying the laugher, fun and memories they created as a group, whilst completing the Gaisce Trek also.
