Last Thursday the students in TY and Ag-science went on a field trip to the Ploughing Championships in Ratheniska Co. Laois. We started the day off bright and early, getting the bus at 6:45 am and arriving at around 12:00. The girls were allowed to walk around in groups or pairs and explore the stalls, markets and amusement park! The classes regrouped at lunchtime for a quick roll call, then split up again to enjoy the rest of the day.

The theme for TY this year is food sustainability so the students in TY had a great opportunity to investigate the stalls and find some interesting information regarding their theme. Everyone had a fantastic day and a big, big thank you to all who helped out !
