Stand up and Save the Bees Transition Year Students win the “Making Our World Greener” award

On Tuesday the 9th of May, Transition Years went through to the Young Social Innovators (YSI) final in City West Dublin. They presented their project “No Bee No me” to the judges and competing schools.

After presenting the students had time to enjoy a myriad of activities, including a silent disco, with face painting and bouncy castles in the hotel grounds, while waiting on the judge’s deliberations.

Their project to save the bees was chosen as one of six of the best projects in the country, which is quite an achievement, bearing in mind there were 600 projects in total.  The students won the award “Making Our World Greener” for their project “No Bee No Me”
