Congratulations to the ‘Rags to Riches’ Build-A-Bank team

The team have qualified to be in the final of the ‘Build-A-Bank’ competition, which is to take place in Dublin on the 3rd of April. The bank is called ‘Rags to Riches’, as the name depicts the transition of moving from rags to riches by saving money with the school bank.
The AIB ‘Build-A-Bank’ Challenge is an opportunity for Transition Year students to run their own School Bank, with the support of AIB, whilst at the same time learning a lot about managing their own business.
The Build-A-Bank competition is a running tradition for the Transition Year students in the school.  Each year six pupils are selected to participate in this prestigious event. This year’s team members this year are Áine Gavin as Manager, Chelsea Burke as Assistant Manager, Thérèse Kearns as Sales & Marketing Representative, Eirene Cullinane as Financial Controller with Ciara Hudson and Eimi Smith as Customer Service Representatives.
‘Rags to Riches’ bank offers a unique banking experience for its members, with many events seasonal treats and a friendly team to guide students on their way to saving.
