Transition Year and Fifth Year Science students all got an opportunity to investigate a simulated crime scene and find their ‘victims’ killer from evidence gathered using modern scientific methods. Some of the scientific techniques the students used to find their crime suspect were; Fingerprinting, DNA testing, Blood Typing and Deductive reasoning.
The day was completed by a brief science demonstration, which the students also enjoyed thoroughly and reported that “Overall it was a fantastic day and a great experience!” and “A day that I’ll never forget!”
