Our Annual ‘Prez Got Talent’ was a massive success, with each base room entering an act that had us either laughing, in awe or inspired.
Our winners were the Transition Years with their hilarious take on the ‘Rose of Tralee’ One Third Year group showed their unity as they spoke about a fellow classmate who is currently on a surgical waiting list for her painful Scoliosis. Students wanted to raise awareness for her.
The response from the students was electric. We are not just a school but a community of friends.
This year for ‘Prez got Talent’, we raised over €1000 for The Irish Cancer Society Night Nursing Service.
About the Charity…
This service provides a home nursing service. Night nurses provide end of life care for cancer patients and their families in their own home. They can provide extra support to families during what can be a difficult and anxious time.
The Irish Cancer Society’s Night Nursing Service is available so that you and your loved one will receive nursing care, practical support and reassurance. They aim to keep your loved one comfortable and free of pain. Patients and their say they feel more supported and reassured by the presence of an Irish Cancer Society Night Nurse.
The Irish Cancer Society Night Nursing Service is funded entirely by money generously donated by the public every year, including on Daffodil Day each March. They rely completely on your voluntary donations to run the Night Nursing service.
