The inaugural CEIST Student Leadership conference

An enjoyable, informative and inspiring day was had by our three nominated student leaders Chloe Crowe, Aoife Donnellan and Louise Walsh. The girls attend the inaugural CEIST Student Leadership conference that was held in St. Patrick’s College, Drumcondra on Tuesday March 24th with their teacher Caroline Wilson and Principal Neasa Cosgrove. At the conference the girls met other nominated students from CEIST schools around the country and they all had a chance to talk to one another, explore the possibilities of leadership as well as the values associated with being a good leader.
All of the students who attend the conference were there because they had displayed leadership in their own schools and this conference gave the attendees the opportunity to share their experiences.
The conference was held because CEIST recognises that the students in its schools today will be the leaders of tomorrow and is committed to playing a part in preparing them for that role.
