In spite of the torrential, rain all of the Transition Years had a great day learning about the Sustainable Development Goals doing the workshop in Brigit’s Garden.
The girls got to participate in different activities which highlighted some of the world’s most challenging issues.
The girls reported that they found it a very enjoyable day, and the activities were great fun, interesting and extremely informative, whilst also being great fun.
The girls said that they felt that the workshop brought the ideas of the Global Goals to life, also made us all much more aware of the importance of the goals, and need to have them.
All of the students said that they thought the Brigit’s Gardens were beautiful and all of the leaders were just fantastic and made the ideas the Sustainable Development Goals very real.
At the end of the day, the tired wet students sang and entertained each other with their stories of the day’s experience with loads of laughter, fun and information.
