Congratulations again to our Transition Years

The girls won the prestigious Galway’s Civic Trusts 10th Annual competition: Capturing Galway’s Heritage with their project on the topic ‘Our Local Musical Heritage’ The student’s project involved researching, interviewing music legend Seán Keane who also recorded a rendition of the song ‘Isle of Hope’ with the girls.

Transition Years students enjoyed their lesson from DeafHear Galway

Transition Years students enjoyed their excellent lesson provided by DeafHear Galway. At the lesson the girls were introduced to basic sign language. DeafHear has been advocating for equal access and opportunities for, and providing specialist services and supports to Deaf and Hard of Hearing people and their families since 1964.
